Any individual or legal entity that considers that a public department of Wallonia (Walloon Region) or the Wallonia-Brussels Federation (French Community) failed to fulfil the public service remit entrusted to it, may make an individual complaint to the Mediator, which is an independent body.

This complaint may be made in French or in German, either in writing (by post or e-mail) or orally, at the institution’s headquarters or at Wallonia’s decentralised help-desks. Before making a complaint, the necessary steps must be taken with the departments concerned to obtain satisfaction. The process is free, private and impartial.
